Railing

Today is the day we finally have railing along our porch. Ever since Cohen has been more mobile, and with his bday party just around the corner, we have been quite concerned about the 2 foot drop off our back porch. So today, the railing was powder coated and bolted up. Now no kids will get hurt and we will stay out of court! Yay.

Is Blue REALLY Better?

Okay. So we recently got this new couch. We LOVE it. So I thought, why not paint too and change the look of the room? So I figured blue looks really good with brown (we have alot of brown in that room including curtains and other wood furniture). So I went down to Dunn Edwards and bought 3 little buckets of blue paint. One was bright blue (we're talking "blues clues"), one was blue green (very "spa" like), and one was a stormy blue (grey-blue). Well we chose the stormy blue because we liked the grey in it. Once I got it on I wasn't so sure. I mean, it was ALOT of blue. So I decided to ask people on my blog what they think.

Water in Arizona!?

Yes! We now have water on our dehydrated plants. Noah didn't want to leave any leaf out of the water party so he went to Target and Home Depot and cleared them out. Noah spent his Sunday planting over 60 of the water hungry shrubs and ground cover to make our home a tropical paradise. We will see how this dry hot summer treats our new babies when 110 degrees hits. 

A Cleaner Line

Finally some curbing. Hopefully sprinklers and a drip system will follow soon. We are trying to keep our plants alive and apparently they need water for that:p

Diet Coke Explosion

I guess the top shelf of our refrigerator gets a little chilly cause we heard a huge "POP" one day and I was like "Noah, did something in our refrigerator fall?". So he opened it to check and this is what we saw...
